Practical or Vocational Nursing (PN or VN) Program is a one-year of comprehensive theory and clinical training program requiring three (3) terms of academic work and clinical experience (classroom instruction, skills laboratory and practicum or clinical experience).
Last year, several local dailies wrote about the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program. Mr. Gregory Tyron Howard, an LPN and President of the National Federation of Licensed Practical Nursing of America and Chairman of the Committee of Licensed Practical Nurse Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) arrived in Manila and held a series of consultations on the ladderized program of nursing education.
